 c. GENERAL RULES

1. General

  • You must post each of your items separately, in the corresponding category (and under the corresponding brand name, if applicable).
  • You may only have one listing per item.
  • All items must have a correct indication of their condition. In addition, all defects, alterations, missing parts must be mentioned in the description of the article.
  • Bids in lots (sets of items) must be marked “in lots” or “set” in the title and description of the ad. Each bundle bid must indicate the total price of all items included in the bundle. Items included in the bundle cannot be listed separately.
  • Your ad or profile description must not refer to external websites. Exception: we do not recommend this for privacy reasons, but you can share a link to a page on social networks, as long as it is not related to commercial activities.
  • The maximum value of items allowed on our platform is 9,000 euros.
  • Ads or publications related to an auction or a tender are not allowed. If the price of your item is exceptionally low/high, or does not seem to correspond to the real value of the item, your ad could be considered as an auction.

2. Item Photo Requirements

The photos used in your ads must meet the following requirements:

  • They must represent the item as it is: no alterations to the photo are allowed. It is also recommended to show defects, scratches, wear, etc.
  • They must be sharp and clear. Check out our tips for taking good photos.
  • The photos must be taken by you for the purpose of using them on PLGRND.
  • They cannot be replaced by photos from image banks, advertising photos and copyrighted photos.
  • The first photo must clearly represent the whole article. You are free to choose how you want to show your article in the additional photos.
  • They should emphasize the authenticity of your article. See our tips on how to do this.

3. Intellectual Property Policy

  • It is strictly forbidden to upload counterfeit items to our platform. Counterfeits are generally copies or imitations of a company’s brand name (e.g. brand name, product name and/or logo) without its authorization. They may also copy specific and notable features of that company’s product (e.g., the shape of a pair or its specific patterns). Note: Sellers of counterfeit items are subject to civil and criminal penalties.
  • Members may only post items that they are certain are genuine. They may not add a disclaimer to their listing indicating that they are not sure if the item is authentic or not.
  • Members must also upload photos that prove as clearly as possible the authenticity of their item.
  • The use of other brands that are not related to your article in the brand category, title/description or as a hashtag in your ad is not allowed.
  • In general, the use of terms such as “inspired by” followed by a brand name is also prohibited on our platform.
  • If you use texts or photos created/published by someone else, you must have obtained permission to do so.

4. Commercial activities

We do not allow individual members to post items intended to be sold for commercial purposes. We may consider your activities to be commercial based on one or more of the following criteria (this list is not exhaustive):

  • You conduct high volume transactions (based on the number of transactions conducted and/or the amount of revenue generated);
  • You sell a large number of new items, including items with tags and/or low value items;
  • You sell clothing or other items of the same style, but in different colors and sizes;
  • You sell items with labels such as “can be ordered”, “currently out of stock”, “coming soon”, etc;
  • You sell items that you did not buy for your own use, but with the intention of reselling them;
  • Your sales are intended to generate a regular source of income;
  • You have a legal status that allows you to engage in commercial sales activities and you sell for your business;
  • You sell items that you have made as a craftsman or designer;
  • You act on behalf of a private merchant or through another person acting in his or her name and on his or her behalf, and you receive a fee or gratuity;
  • You rent your items or offer services;
  • Your ads include images from the Internet or image banks.

Note: If you qualify to become a Pro seller, you can convert your existing account to a Pro account. You also have the right to maintain both a personal account for private use and a Pro account for business purposes.

  1. PENALTIES

When members do not follow our catalog rules, we may take the following actions:

  • If a reported ad requires some changes, we will make it invisible from their profile and inform them of the action to be taken by message. If the member concerned does not take these measures within the time limit, the item will remain hidden;
  • If a reported ad contains a prohibited article, we will remove the ad from the member’s profile and we will send him a message to explain the reason for this removal;
  • If a member posts prohibited items (i.e. items that are part of a list of prohibited items as described above, items of an apparent commercial nature or any other item that would violate our Terms & Conditions and/or catalog rules) repeatedly, we may suspend their account (e.g. for a period of 7 days) or permanently block them as appropriate.
